  • Advice to clients regarding the use of life insurance in multi-generational tax planning and business planning.
  • Advice to clients with respect to family business succession planning, including the implementation of redemption and cross-purchase buy/sell agreements.
  • Administration of decedents' estates, including probate matters, asset transfers, and post-mortem estate planning (e.g., disclaimers).
  • Advice to clients with international planning matters and the interpretation of international tax treaties.
  • Trustee selection, trustee counsel, and beneficiary counsel.
  • Trust and estate litigation.
  • Marital planning, including marital and cohabitation agreements.
  • Representation before the IRS with respect to gift, estate, and income tax audits, appeals, and litigation.
