Ben is an experienced litigation, employment, and natural resources attorney. He represents national and regional companies in all areas of employment law, commercial litigation, and natural resources litigation.

Ben joins the Firm after spending seven and a half years litigating commercial, land use, and employment matters for a full-service firm in Portland, Maine. During this time, he successfully represented clients at all stages of litigation and handled numerous trials as “first chair” counsel. His land-use litigation practice saw him handle some of Maine’s most complex title and easement disputes that relate back to this country’s earliest 1600s colonial land grants and patents. Ben also maintains a healthy appellate practice, having argued and briefed many cases before the Maine Supreme Court.

Outside of the office, Ben is a fully-sponsored backcountry skier who has appeared in numerous ski movies as well as Powder, Skiing, Freeskier, Backcountry, and Ski magazines.

Colorado Super Lawyers® named Mr. Leoni a Rising Star, General Litigation, 2015 - 2018, 2020.
